Since 1957, the spirit of giving has been evident at Charles Wright Academy. For generations, our community's loyalty and generosity have strengthened our students' experiences and ensured that CWA remains a place where students continue to develop the skills and creativity to successfully navigate their futures with confidence.
As a non-profit independent school, tuition covers most (but not all) of the true cost of a CWA education. Philanthropy bridges that gap and supports the people and programs that define our school, such as exceptional teachers, vibrant arts, thrilling athletics, experiential education that helps our students explore the world beyond the classroom, and access and financial aid - ensuring that all Tarriers can learn and grow at CWA.
We are continually inspired by the stories and connections shared by past, present, and future families, faculty, staff, and alumni. Your support directly enriches the daily lives of Tarriers and strengthens the future we are building together.
When we go ALL IN as a community, we show our students what it means to stand together with purpose. Every gift matters. The Fund for CWA
Every year, gifts to the Fund for CWA go to work immediately, directly supporting the people and programs that make a CWA education transformative.
Planned Giving
Individuals may wish to leave a legacy gift that will support CWA beyond their lifetimes. Planned gifts include bequests, life income arrangements, and other deferred gifts.
Endowment
Gifts to CWA's endowment are invested with the goal of permanence and impact. The original principal remains intact, while the income it generates benefits students, faculty, and programs year after year.

Leadership Giving Society
The Leadership Giving Society at Charles Wright Academy honors those whose philanthropic leadership represents cumulative gifts to The Fund for CWA of $1,957 or more annually. Members of the Leadership Giving Society are our most generous benefactors, whose membership is granted on an annual basis.
Loyal Tarrier Society
The Loyal Tarriers Society at Charles Wright Academy honors those whose generosity spans decades. Membership in the Loyal Tarriers Society represents those who have given consistently for 20 years or more to the school. Permanent membership is granted after a benefactor has earned a place in the society.
Founders' Society
The Founders’ Society was established in the early years of Charles Wright Academy to celebrate the enduring legacy of our founders, Sam and Nathalie Brown, and the individuals who choose to follow in our founders’ footsteps. The Founders’ Society honors those who secure the financial future of Charles Wright Academy by making a bequest or other planned gift to the school.
