Tacoma, Wash. – More than 120 Tarrier parents took over the Charles Wright Upper School Phyllis Kriese Commons on Saturday, Oct. 4, to promote school spirit and raise funds for the Sports Boosters program during the second annual Tarrier FanFest.
Surrounded by vintage and recent CWA team photos, athletic uniforms, championship banners, and green-and-white paraphernalia, revelers partook in heavy appetizers and drinks courtesy of the Ram and Trinchero Family Estates, got competitive over ping-pong, and rocked along to live music by Baking with Julia.
,Fund-raisers throughout the evening included a raffle (which raised $514 for Sports Boosters) and opportunities to fund wish lists drawn up by the athletics department to go toward the purchase of championship banners, uniforms, equipment, and other necessities.
Thanks to all of the attendees for supporting CWA sports teams—we couldn’t do it without you! Go Tarriers!
