Suzy Ebalo teaches kindergarten. Her own experience as a kindergarten student was fantastic, and she wants her students to have that same experience. “I want my students to look back and say, ‘kindergarten rocked!'” she says.
Ebalo particularly loves teaching students to read, write, and do math—but more importantly, she loves teaching them about football. “I’ve been known to become a bit a football fanatic some years, but shouldn’t all kindergarteners know all 32 NFL teams?”
Ebalo helps lead the Lower School running club and serves as the faculty cluster chair for junior kindergarten, kindergarten, first grade, and second grade.
Once upon a time, she worked at the John Ball Zoo in Michigan, where she learned that she doesn’t mind snakes but is a little bit scared of owls. She has a dog named Lucy and a turtle with the name Speedy (what else?).
