Please join us for an informational evening hosted by International Student Coordinator Ann Vogel about what it’s like hosting an international student. Consider sharing your home with one of Charles Wright’s international students for an academic year! Benefits include:
- developing a lifelong friendship with an international student and his or her family
- learning about another culture and language
- acting as a mentor of American culture and education
- receiving a stipend of $10,500 for the school year
Listen to Ms. Vogel’s 2014 interview with KLAY 1180 AM Talk Radio’s Ty Ray about the many benefits of hosting international students enrolled at CWA:
Students arrive stateside with their own health insurance and spending money. Host families provide room, board, transportation, and a warm and inviting home! Want to learn more about how welcoming an international student into your family is worthwhile? Come to this informational meeting in the Language and Performing Arts Center (Dr. Cui’s classroom, No. 84) or contact Ms. Vogel.
