Please join us for a special screening (sponsored by the CWA Parent Association) of the highly acclaimed documentary Screenagers, a film that explores the increasing role of technology in adolescents’—and families’—lives. The film is 68 minutes long, and a discussion with technology education experts Holly Gerla (CWA academic technology coordinator), Sam Harris (CWA Middle School librarian), and Emily McMason (certified parent coach of Evolving Parents) will follow. Lower School Learning Specialist Mary Beth Cole, who leads the Pierce County CHADD chapter, will also be on hand. Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) is a national nonprofit organization providing education, advocacy, and support for individuals with ADHD. CHADD also publishes a variety of printed materials to keep members and professionals current on research advances, medications, and treatments affecting individuals with ADHD. These materials include Attention magazine and a free electronically mailed informational newsletter, as well as other publications of specific interest to educators, professionals, adults with ADHD, and parents.
