C’DAT is Charles Wright’s annual arts festival, with a day full of hands-on opportunities for all Tarriers in all divisions to try new techniques and materials. Art teachers and advanced Upper School art students will be working with Lower Schoolers and Middle Schoolers in workshops including wire sculpture, monoprints, rubbings, button-making, ceramics, screenprinting, outdoor installations, protraiture, and more.
Participants are encouraged to bring a white or light-colored plain T-shirt. Upper School art students will silkscreen the 2016 C’DAT logo on the shirts during each class visit. Shirts will be returned the following week. (One-hundred-percent cotton shirts print the best, but 50-50 blends will also work.)
