Charles Wright Alumnus shares how his experience at CWA shaped his passion for making a difference through efficient energy, diversity, and inclusion. CWA is honored to name Scott Case ’94 the 2019 CWA Alum of the Year.
After Charles Wright, Scott Case headed back East and graduated from Williams College with a degree in Political Science and Economics and began a career in technology just as the internet was taking off. After getting his master’s degree in business from MIT, Scott moved back to Seattle, where he co-founded a software startup called EnergySavvy in 2008, to help people use energy more efficiently in their homes and reduce the impact of climate change. In 2013, Scott co-founded Ada Developers Academy, a non-profit school for women going into the field of software development, to improve diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.
