Tacoma, Wash. – Members of Charles Wright Academy’s Class of 2021 honored a Tarrier tradition today when they celebrated Halfway Day—the halfway point of their kindergarten-through-12th-grade education.
The festivities have been held annually for more than a decade, although it has morphed over the years. Typically, parent volunteers will set up a party for the sixth graders while they are off campus with team leaders and the Middle School head for an activity (in past years it was ice skating; in recent years it’s bowling). This year, the party was Seahawks themed, and there was a photo booth (complete with props), snacks, and sparkling apple cider for all. See party photos below!
