Affording Charles Wright Academy

Charles Wright is committed to maintaining socioeconomic diversity by assisting families to afford a CWA college preparatory education. More than $2.7 million in Financial Aid was distributed in 2019-2020 and we are dedicated to the accessibility that this program provides prospective students.  Financial Aid is available for 2020-2021 for Junior Kindergarten through 12th Grade students. We consider all applications very carefully and our decisions are made separately from the admissions process.

Tuition for 2020 – 2021

Full day program: $19,755

8:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.

Morning care at 7:30 a.m.

Afternoon care until 5:30 p.m.

Families can pay for tuition utilizing a tuition payment plan. Our plans provide options for paying tuition in one, three, or nine payments over the course of the academic year. Parent Financial Statement (PFS)

How to Apply for Financial Aid

Create an Account

Visit the School & Student Services (SSS) website at www.sssbynais.org/parents and create an account. SSS is a third-party organization that processes financial aid applications for independent schools. You will use your SSS account to upload all of your financial aid application components.

*Note for divorced or separated parents, or never-married parents living apart: a separate financial aid application must be submitted for each household.

Parent Financial Statement (PFS)

The Parent Financial Statement or PFS is your financial aid application form. You will need to begin the process by filling it out completely.

Required Documents

After submitting the PFS, families applying for financial aid will need to upload the following documents via the SSS portal:

  • 2019 and 2020 Tax Form 1040

Please include appropriate supporting schedules and 2019 and 2020 W2s. If a partner in a partnership or a shareholder in an S-Corp, please also include the K-1.
