Your child’s safety

We have full-time staff and measures in place to ensure safe passage between home and CWA for every Tarrier. While there are opportunities for risks, dangers, and threats when transporting students, the Charles Wright transportation team is highly-trained, even-keeled, level-headed, and positive. They make sound decisions and keep the safety of your child a priority in every situation.

We take care of it all

Charles Wright’s transportation program serves families from across South Puget Sound and South King County. Every day more than 150 students ride our buses to school. We understand that you and your child need a reliable, safe, and personal experience and we are dedicated to making sure the experience from the bus stop to the classroom is seamless. We take care of everything from the moment they step onto the bus to when they arrive on campus. At the end of the day, we make sure your child gets on the right bus at the right time, so they come back to you after a day of joyful learning.

Bus drivers are an extension of our school

At CWA, we consider transportation an extension of the classroom. The transportation team is not only a means to provide access to the Charles Wright experience, but they are also a vital part of the Charles Wright experience as a whole. The transportation team is the first to greet many Tarriers in the morning, and the last to see them home. Our drivers are highly-trained, and considered teachers on the road.

“We live 45 minutes away from campus, and we have a newborn. Having a reliable bus service has been a game changer for our family and our daughter Mila.”
– Current Parent

“At Charles Wright Academy our students are learning important life lessons while riding the school bus. They are making new friends, learning time management, and responsibility for their belongings. Our school feels like one BIG family. Our transportation team plays an important role in each student’s educational experience while providing peace of mind to parents that their students are safe and sound.”
