Step by Step Guide:

1. Apply

Fill out our online application through our admissions portal, available at charleswright.org/apply. The portal will prompt you to provide us with the following:

Parent Application

Student Application (Grades 6-12)

Teacher Recommendation(s)

Once you have completed the application, submit the appropriate application fee online. To request a fee waiver, please contact the Admissions Office.

Applicants for Preschool to Grade 5: $80 (includes assessment fee)

Applicants for Grades 6 to 12: $40

2. Assess

Kindergarten to Grade 5
Applicants for Kindergarten to Grade 5 must have an assessment conducted in the Admissions Office. To make your reservation, email us here.

For all those that complete the parent and student portion of the CWA application, we offer WPPSI or WISC testing on weekdays. Make your reservation at admissions@charleswright.org.

Grade 6 – 12
Visit iseetest.org to view information about the ISEE (including practice materials) or to schedule the ISEE at another testing site. Our ISEE school code is 481368. Please be sure to add this code to your ISEE registration after you select a testing date.

Although we do not administer the SSAT on our campus, we will accept SSAT scores. Our SSAT school code is 2304. Visit ssat.org for more information. With any questions about testing, please see below or email us here.

3. Visit

We require an individual visit for your student to get to know Charles Wright Academy and for us to get to know your student. Please call us to schedule your appointment, which can be combined with a tour of campus and/or the admissions assessment.
