At CWA the arts are a major component of the education we provide, simply because they add richness, depth and creativity, to the well-lived life. Knowing Brubeck from Bartok or pointillism from point-of-view may never figure on a résumé or a job interview, but they will enhance each day — and help in thinking about that job in creative new ways. And the performing arts (at least one credit is required for graduation) build the confidence and poise-while-perspiring that will serve students all their lives.
