You’ll hear laughter and learning here, the home for students in grades 9-12. But you won’t hear bells ringing — at CWA both students and teachers are responsible for making sure that classes begin and end on time without any Pavlovian prodding. Walk the halls here when students have a free period, and you might find them studying on the benches in the science wing, doing research in the library or conversing with friends in the atrium. Recently some have shown an inexplicable interest in playing Four-Square between classes. Yes, Four-Square. Who knew?
