Well, it has tree houses, a commons and a kid pit, if that gives you any indication. Built in 1996, the innovative Middle School is home to grades 6-8 and a sort of living laboratory for education. Start in the commons, where the kids eat lunch and the swirl of energy is centered. Go up to the second floor and you’ll find kids studying in the tree houses, which are window-lined nooks overlooking the greenery of the CWA campus. Step into the "press box," a space outside the history classroom where a wide variety of student projects are displayed throughout the school year, where you’ll discover a great view of the CWA stadium and track to the south. As for the kid pit…you’ll just have to see it for yourself.
