Listen for the birds, and the rushing of Peach Creek. Watch the light scatter through the trees in the tranquil ravine below the Chapel. Built in 1972, the Chapel serves as a reminder that CWA was originally organized by the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia. Today, as an independent school Charles Wright is no longer governed by the Episcopal Church, but our school chaplain remains an important spiritual resource on campus, teaching lessons on universal values to Lower School students in weekly Chapel sessions. The chaplain also organizes holiday celebrations drawing upon a wide variety of religious and cultural traditions.
