Lower, Middle & Upper School Physical Education
Michelle (Svensen) Ripple teaches physical education in all three divisions at Charles Wright.  “I really enjoy sharing my passion for gymnastics and tumbling with my students,” she says.  “This is one of my favorite units to teach during the year.”
 
Michelle Svensen Ripple completed her undergraduate education at the University of Alberta and earned her Master's in Education in curriculum, instruction and assessment from Walden University.  She joined the faculty of Charles Wright in 2000.  She has also coached volleyball and track and field at CWA.  
 
“I enjoy the energy and enthusiasm the students bring to the classroom,” she says.  “Charles Wright students are eager learners and up for trying new things.”
 
Ripple was born in Canada.  She holds dual citizenship and was a competitive curler in Canada.  She judges gymnastic and recently earned her National Women's Gymnastics judging rating in Indianapolis.  She enjoys traveling and walking her dog.
