Performance

The performing arts department at Charles Wright Academy provides students with the skills to become confident performers in music and the dramatic arts. Our faculty's teaching balances these skills with a strong focus on developing our students' passion, trust, empathy, creativity, expression and personal commitment.  We are dedicated to instilling in our students a lifelong committment to involvement in and appreciation for the arts.

A performing arts credit is required for graduation, and several classes and combinations of classes are offered to fulfill this requirement in drama, vocal music and instrumental music.  While students can take classes from all three programs, they are encouraged to maintain their involvement in the performance program of their choice. Some courses require an audition or permission of the instructor.
