Timeline & Notification

Beginning School (BGS) & Kindergarten (K):
We are still accepting applications to BGS and K for the 2012-13 school year.  As the process is under way, we encourage you to apply soon and will continue to accept applications as long as spaces remain.

Beginning School:  Readiness is assessed using the Gesell Developmental Observation and a series of observations during a visit to school.  The observations focus on a student's socialization and ability to take direction.  Successful applicants usually turn four by the 30th of June preceding the start of school.  All Beginning Schoolers must be able to use the toilet without assistance.

Kindergarten:  Readiness is assessed using the Woodcock-Johnson III Test of Cognitive Abilities and a variety of screening activities during a visit to school.  The screening activities focus on early skill development as well as socialization.  Successful applicants usually turn five by the 30th of June preceding the start of school.

Grades 1-12:
Families with students applying for grades 1-12 for fall admission are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.  We will continue to make decisions on a rolling, space-available basis throughout the spring and summer months.

We encourage you to call us at any point in the year to inquire about space available in grades of interest.
