Open Positions

Substitute Bus Driver
We are seeking candidates for a substitute bus driver position for the 2015-16 academic year.
The substitute route/athletic event driver will drive students of all grade levels and other
authorized persons on our regular routes within our transportation range and beyond for
special and athletic events.

Kids Club Program Lead
Part time, 2:30 – 6:15pm on days school is in session, with extra work required before and after the school year.  Implement the Kids Club afterschool program for Lower School programs.

Parent Association and Auction Coordinator
On behalf of the Advancement office, serve as the school liaison and support for the Parent Association including the planning, preparation and execution of the PA events and special fundraisers.  This position will work 12 months per year, approximately 60% time, exact schedule to be determined.

Advancement Database Manager
This is a full-time staff appointment.  Providing oversight of the school’s primary advancement database, this position manages and supervises all aspects of the donor database input, maintenance, creation of codes, reporting, research, database integrity and gift processing.

Upper School English/History Teacher – One Year Position
Summary:  This position is a one-year faculty appointment for the 2016-17 academic year only.  The successful candidate will teach three sections of English and one section of history in the Upper School (grades 9-12).  Additional duties will include leading a major extracurricular responsibility, leading an advisory group of ten two twelve students, and participating in the community life of Charles Wright Academy.

Lower School 2nd Grade Classroom Teacher
This s a full-time faculty appointment.  The classroom teachers at the grade level work together as a team, planning together and often co-teaching.

Lower School 5th Grade Classroom Teacher – One Year Position
This is a full-time, one-year faculty appointment.  The classroom teachers at the grade level work together as a team, planning together and often co-teaching.

Varsity Head Boys Basketball Coach
The successful candidate will be the head coach of the varsity boys basketball program and will directly report to the school’s athletic director.

Upper School History Teacher
Summary:  This position is a full-time faculty appointment for the 2016-17 academic year. The position
will teach four sections of History/Economics in the Upper School. Other duties will include
leading a major extracurricular responsibility, leading an advisory group of eight to ten
students, and participating in the community life of Charles Wright Academy.

Upper School Math Teacher
Summary:  This position is a full-time faculty appointment for the 2016-17 academic year.  This position
will teach four sections of Upper School math. Other duties will include leading a major
extracurricular responsibility, leading an advisory group of eight to ten students, and
participating in the community life of Charles Wright Academy.

Middle and Upper School English Teacher
Summary:  This position is a full-time faculty appointment for the 2016-17 academic year.  This position will teach sections of seventh grade and high school English.  Other duties will include leading a major extracurricular responsibility, leading an advisory group of eight to ten students, and participating in the community life of Charles Wright Academy.
