I hope I will be remembered for my energy and enthusiasm, and for sharing my love of the Spanish language and culture with my students.  Around the holidays, several alums who are now studying at various universities stopped by my office to visit.  They told me how much they appreciated my class and how much they felt they had learned.  They each plan to continue with their Spanish studies at college and hope to pursue careers in which they can use their language skills.  I believe that people should celebrate the diverse peoples and cultures of the world.
