Charles Wright Academy offers the broadest, deepest, most challenging academic environment anywhere. The demands and the expectations are simply higher. Attending CWA is a unique opportunity for any child and every year a small group of international students thrive here. These students come from many countries but they share common traits: they are comfortable studying in English and they want an education that will prepare them to attend and succeed at America’s finest colleges and universities.
Most international students enter CWA in the ninth or tenth grade, although some come in Middle School. They live with host families in the communities surrounding the school. In addition to demonstrating their English fluency, they must show they are academically prepared for the challenges they face at Charles Wright.
